Things I am sure you will want to know:
1. Area XIII uses single use needle, grips/tubes
2. Tattoo machines and cables are completely covered in a single use cover
3. Ink is used from single use caps
4. All surfaces and areas that may be touched during the tattoo are covered with cling-film and replaced after every client
5. Tattoo inks are a well respected make and sterilised at time of production
6. Area XIII is fully licensed by Highland Council
7. Closed door appointments are permitted

Tattooing will NOT be carried out on any individual who is
- Under 18 years of age
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
It is your responsibility as the client to answer all questions asked by the tattoo artist truthfully and to the best of your knowledge. You should also discuss your medical history with the tattoo artist so that he/she can make an educated decision as to whether you are a fit person to have the invasive service that is tattooing.
You the client should read the aftercare information provided before signing a consent form to proceed.
You the client should be aware of the risks that may be associated with the invasive service of tattooing and consider these before giving consent for the service to go ahead.
The Area XIII tattoo artist will provide you with a sterile tattoo with the use of single use, needles, tubes and ink cups. You will be sterilised by use of an alcohol wipe and non latex gloves will be used to avoid any allergic reaction.
Following on from this it is your responsibility to follow the aftercare advice provided by the operator, which has been agreed with the environmental health department. If it is not followed, a tattoo is at risk of becoming infected,
which could result in you the client suffering from mild discomfort, serious illness to death.
